  • Today pick-up from the airport and transfer to the Leh hotel. Take rest and acclimatize for the day. Later in the evening Visit the Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa and the local leh market. Overnight Stay in Leh.
  • Today after breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Leh, i.e The Hall of Fame , Visit the very popular Magnetic Hill , after that visit the Pathar Sahib and witness the story of the gurudwara. Later visit the Sangam Point where the Zanskar river and the Indus river meet at one point and you can get to see two different colours of the rivers. Overnight stay in Leh.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Nubra via Khardungla Pass. Khardungla Pass is the world's highest mortar-able road in the world. Take Pictures there and then proceed furthur to Nubra. On reaching check in at the camp and later visit the hunder valley for Camel Ride. There you can see the Double Hump Camel, the only place where you can get to see the double hump camel. Overnight stay in Nubra.
  • After early breakfast, proceed to pangong via Shyok River. On reaching pangong, get amazed by the breathtaking view of the Pangong Lake. Did you know that more than half of the pangong lake is in China and the other part is in India. Relax by the pangong lake. Overnight stay in Pangong.
  • After breakfast checkout and proceed back to Leh via Changla Pass. Changla Pass is the world's 2nd highest mortar-able road. On the way visit the Shey Palace and then the beautiful and peaceful Thikshey Monastery. Later visit the Famous 3 Idiots Rancho School. Reach back to leh in the evening and take a rest for the day. Overnight in Leh.

6 Nights 7 Days – Leh – Nubra – Pangong (Ladakh)


  • Arrival Leh, Wisdom representative will meet, greet, assist and transfer you to Hotel in Leh. Rest of the day free to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. In the evening take a walk to the local bazaar in Leh. Overnight at Hotel in Leh.
  • Morning after breakfast visit Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery and Kali Mata Temple, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and Confluence of Zanskar – Indus rivers. Return to Leh for lunch (on own). In the evening walk to Leh bazaar where you can have magnificent views of the Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
  • LADAKH HALL OF FAME: The Hall of Fame is a glorious museum constructed by the Indian Army. It is worth a visit for every citizen. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defense personalities with biographies, images and weapons used during the Kargil and other key strategic battles fought in Ladakh.   • SPITUK GOMPA: 8 Kms from Leh, it stands prominently on the top of hillock commanding a panoramic view of the Indus Valley for miles. Many icons of Buddha and fine Thankas are to be found in this 15th century Gompa. The Gompa also houses a collection of ancient masks, antique arms, and an awe-inspiring image of Mahakaal. The face of the Kali image is kept covered and is revealed only at the annual function at January every year.
  • MAGNETIC HILL: Defying the Law of gravity. This place is close to the Gurdwara Shri Patthar Sahib. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up-hill that’s the Believe it or not of Ladakh!
  • GURDWARA SHRI PATTHAR SAHIB: Situated 25 miles from Leh, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib stands at the place where Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikh religion and the first guru, is believed to have vanquished a demon. According to legend, during his sojourn in Ladakh, Guru Nanak was attacked by a demon. The demon threw a large boulder on the guru as he sat at the base of a hill meditating. However, the rock became soft like molten wax and failed to cause any harm to the Sikh guru. The demon was in for a surprise when he found the Sikh guru unscathed. Bristling with fury, the demon tried to crush Guru Nanak by kicking the boulder with all his might. To his surprise, the demon’s foot caused a deep impression in the boulder which had turned soft. Realizing that the man in front of him was no mortal soul, the demon underwent a transformation and stopped harassing the people. The boulder with the imprints of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the foot of daemon still rests there. The gurudwara is maintained today by the Indian Army. It is a tradition for vehicles to stop and pay obeisance at the temple.
  • CONFLENCE OF THE ZANSKAR & INDUS: On way to Sham Valley before Nimu village one can have this magnificent view of two rivers in wed-lock! In seasons they have different colors and flow and wildness.
  • Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the World Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass. Arrive Khalsar Sand Dunes and enjoy various Adventure Activities like ATV ride, World’s highest and longest Zipline ride, Cycle Zipline, and Bungee Jumping amoung other activities. You can enjoy delicious lunch there as well (on own). Later visit Hunder Sand Dunes and Diskit monastery and check in at your camp / resort. Overnight at the camp.
  • khardungla pass: The road journey to Nubra valley leads through Khardung La pass (The highest Motorable road in the world) 18,390 ft. around 39 Kms. Away from Leh. There are two checkpoints on the both sides of the pass. Khardong is the first village of Nubra valley at higher altitude than Deskit and other villages.
  • DESERT HIMALAYA ADVENTURE PARK: The Adventure Park is famous for the ATV rides over the White Sand Dunes. This is also the place where some scenes of the superhit movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag were shot. The Adventure park has the World’s longest zipline at highest altitude. The adventure seekers can go ahead and enjoy 03 Kms ZIPLINE ride, Bungee free fall, Cycle Zipline among other activities there. The multi-cuisine restaurant serves buffet lunch at very nominal charges.
  • DESKIT GOMPA: Deskit Gompa was founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo of Stod in about 1420 AD during the reign of King Dragspa. About 100 monks are residing in the Gompa, which is a branch of Thikse Monastery. The monastic festival called Gustor takes place on 20th and 21st days of the 12th month of Tibetan calendar.
  • Morning after and early breakfast proceed Pangong Lake, driving through the beautiful Shayok River Valley. Arrive Pangong and visit the lake. And check into your camp / resort. Evening free to explore the lake area. Overnight at the hotel.
  • THE PANGONG LAKE: This route takes the visitor past the picturesque villages of Shey and Thiksey, and turns off the Indus valley by the side valley of Chemrey and Sakti. The Ladakh range is crossed by the Chang-la (18,000 feet / 5,475 M) which despite its great elevation is one of the easier passes, remaining open for much of the year even in winter, apart from periods of actual snowfall. Tangse, just beyond the foot of the pass, has an ancient temple.
  • But the main attraction of this circuit is the Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 M). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point to which foreigners are permitted, is only some seven km along the southern shore from the head of the lake, but it affords spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north, their reflection shimmering in the ever-changing blues and greens of the lakes brackish water. Above Spangmik are the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Pangong range.

  • Morning after breakfast, drive to Thiksey village, visit Thiksey monastery and drive to Shey Village to visit Shey Palace and Gompa. Continue drive to Hemis monastery to visit one of the most famous monasteries of Ladakh. Later on the way back to Leh get down at the Sindhu Ghat for Sindhu Darshan and walk along the river. After spending some time at the river return to Hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Leh.
  • THIKSEY GOMPA: 19 Kms from Leh, spectacularly sited, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompas, containing images, stupas and wall paintings of Buddha, which are exquisite.
  • SHEY PALACE AND GOMPA: Situated on a hillock 15 Kms upstream from Leh, it was once the residence of the royal family. According to tradition, it was the seat of power of the pre-Tibetan kinds. A 7.5 mts high copper statue of Buddha, plated with gold and the largest of its kind, is installed here.
  • HEMIS GOMPA: 40 Kms from Leh, it is the wealthiest, best known and biggest Gompa of Ladakh. Its popularity stems from the major annual festival held here in summer. The festival is in honor of Guru Padma Sambhava’s birth anniversary. It also has the largest Thanka in Ladakh which is unfurled once in 12 years Hemis was built in 1630 during the reign of Singge Namgyal, an illustrious ruler of Ladakh. It flourished under the Namgyal Dynasty for the royalty favored the Drugpa sect, which is managed the monastery. It is divided into two, the assembly hall on the right and the main temple on the left. The hall (Dukhang) is also used as “green room” by the dancers during the festival. The temple is known as Tshogkhang. The verandahs have a surfeit of frescoes, among them the Buddhist “Wheel Of Life” (Kalachakra) and the lords of the four quarters, besides the prayer wheel.
  • SINDHU GHAT: The Sindhu Ghat at Choglamsar village at the bank of River Indus has been inaugurated on the 1st of June 2001 by Hon’ble Minister for Home Shri L. K. Advani. Every year Sindhu festival is held on this bank of river, forges bonds of unity between communities. The festival is an ideal opportunity for travelers from all over the country and the world to visit this wonderful region and to savour its rugged beauty and charm.

  • Early morning drive to TurTuk village with drive landscape, Exotic village. Turtuk this village is about 115 kms from Nubra valley and can take about 3 to 4 hours to reach here, the total population of Turtuk is just 4000 and follow islam as about 40 years back this village was under Pakistan and speak Baltistan language, explore this beautiful village and explore the life here, we will go for a walk around the village and also meet the people.   • Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we take you for a tour of Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Kali Temple and Sangam. At Sangam you can enjoy rafting on Zangskar river.
  • Hall of Fame is a must visit for every patriotic Indian. It has been built by Indian army in memory of soldiers who lost their lives in Kargil war. Return to Leh in the afternoon.
  • Gurdwara Patthar Sahib located at a distance of 40 kms from Leh, was constructed in 1571, in memory of Guru Nanak to commemorate his visit to this region.
  • Magnetic Hill is the place where you will see your car, with its engine turned off, move upwards on a steep slope. It almost sounds unbelievable.
  • The Sangam is the place called Nimu where the Zanskarriver and Indus rivers merge. In the evening come back to Leh. Overnight Hotel.
  • After an early breakfast, drive to beautiful Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) with the zig zag trail continues and drive till Hundar village. On arrival check in Hotel or camp. Afternoon enjoy the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel ride. Overnight at Camp or Hotel.
  • KHARDUNGLA PASS: The road journey to Nubra valley leads through Khardung La pass (The highest Motorable road in the world) 18,390 ft. around 39 Kms. Away from Leh. There are two checkpoints on both sides of the pass. Khardong is the first village of Nubra valley at higher altitude than Deskit and other villages.
  • DESKIT VILLAGE: Deskit is the main village of headquarter of Nubra valley, which has a small market consisting of a row of shops and about 500 years old Gompa on the hilltop. Spectacular view of the valley can be seen from the monastery.
  • DESKIT GOMPA: Deskit Gompa was founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo of Stod in about 1420 AD during the reign of King Drags-pa. About 100 monks are residing in the Gompa, which is a branch of Thikse Monastery. The monastic festival called Gustor takes place on 20th and 21st days of the 12th month of Tibetan calendar.
  • HUNDAR VILLAGE: Hundar is a beautiful village to stay with lot of trees and you will really enjoy your stay at Hundar. It has a small monastery and ruined fort above the village. The walk or Camel Safari (Double Hump bacterian camels) from Hundar to Deskit, through sand dunes for two hours is wonderful (on own).
  • Early morning drive to TurTuk village with drive landscape, Exotic village. Turtuk this village is about 115 kms from Nubra valley and can take about 3 to 4 hours to reach here, the total population of Turtuk is just 4000 and follow islam as about 40 years back this village was under Pakistan and speak Baltistan language, explore this beautiful village and explore the life here, we will go for a walk around the village and also meet the people. Later come back to Hunder village. Overnight at the camps or Hotel.
  • Today, we get up early morning visit to Diskit monastery and have wonderful view of Nubra valley. Later drive to Pangong Lake via Shayok.
  • Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains and landscapes which will leave you awestruck. Overnight at Camp.
  • Note : We have calculated the cost in the package Nubra to Pangong via Shayok River route, but if due to landslide and river water logging this way would be closed due to natural climate issue then we will proceed to Pangong via WariLa Pass which is longer way than Shayok so vehicle charges will be extra @ 4000 for Xylo / Innova and @ 6000 for Tempo traveller. Pay directly to driver or pay to your travel agent.
  • After an early breakfast we check out from our Camp or Hotel and drive to Hanle, by crossing Chushul Village, Tsaga La (15,200 Ft) enjoy the drive upto Hanle, is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory. The location of the village and the observatory are highly sensitive due to the close proximity of the Tibetan / Chinese border. India set up the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, a 2m gamma ray telescope. Once complete the Major Atmospheric Cerenkov Experiment Telescope gamma ray telescope under construction they will be the world’s largest telescope at the highest altitude and the second largest gamma ray telescope in the world. As per history, it is believed that King Singge Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition Mongols. Enjoy the stay with locals at Mountain Trails guest house. Overnight stay at Hanle.
  • Post breakfast, we shall proceed to Leh via Loma, Nyoma, Mahe Bridge, Chumathang hot spring water, Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Overnight at the Hotel.
  • Morning after breakfast, checkout from the hotel and transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward Destination.
